S2 Houtatelier in Naarden-Vesting

We look forward to seeing you at our S2 Houtatelier!
S2 Houtatelier is an artisanal swing workshop, situated in a former bunker in Naarden-Vesting. Next to these unique wooden swings you can also find other handmade objects from independent artists in our Atelier. Such as wooden decorations, blankets, pillows, ceramics and outdoor lighting.

Check out our agenda below or feel free to stop by on Sundays between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. We are open from April to October.

Special events on Sundays

Stop by on the worlds first Cheese- Wine- and Swing tasting to try out lovely cheese and wine and swings.
Or come to our creative makers market, where various makers will present their creations. We’ll have live music, drinks & delightful lounge swings.

Swing tryouts

Come by on the following Sundays between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM to have a test sit on our swings! We’ll be hanging up various models suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Hopefully you’ll find a beautiful swing that suits you. And otherwise we’d be happy to make a custom swing for you.

Bunker S2 is located along the bike path around Naarden-Vesting. You can find us on Korte Bedekte weg, between the bridge keeper’s house on Kapitein G.A. Meijerweg and the Children’s Farm. Look out for the large swinging bench, and you won’t miss us.

From the Yellow Shed, walk under the Utrechtse Poort out of the Vesting. Head towards the bridge over the pedestrian path along Kapitein G. A. Meijerweg. At the bridge keeper’s house, cross the road and walk along either the bike path or the footpath on the rampart towards the children’s farm. After about 100 meters, you’ll reach S2 Wood Workshop.

From the Abri parking lot, walk across the bridge towards the Vesting. At the bridge keeper’s house, turn left. Walk along the bike path or the footpath towards the children’s farm. After about 100 meters, you’ll reach S2 Wood Workshop.

Then drive to Abri, 1411 GJ Naarden. There is ample parking available, and it’s free. From there, it’s a two-minute walk.
